If you already have a lot or a piece of land, you will need to know the specifics of that property before you start designing your home; in turn, if you went to an architect before purchasing the land, you will need to know the specifics of the home design before looking for your piece of land. We always take advantage of the opportunity to assist our clients in selecting the land for their new home.

There are key factors that play a role in determining if the home and land will work together in your overall plan. Whether it's Topography, Deed Restrictions, Building Setbacks, or Utilities, we will carefully inspect the property to ensure we all considering all potential factors from the start.

Custom Home Design Services

I'm sure you've heard the term, "Bring a sketch in on a Napkin".  You can! The Architect / Designer will take it from there. Have you picked up two or three floor plans as you walk model homes ? Bring those to your us and we will combine the best parts of those floor plans to create your very own Custom Plan.

Pictures, Pictures, and More Pictures.

When you start to concept your interior & exterior design, grab some scissors and a three ring notebook and start collecting styles, looks, types, layouts, colors, etc. that fit what you're trying to accomplish with your custom home. 

Did I say pictures ?!  Divide your three ring notebook up in the following categories: Flooring, Appliances, Plumbing Fixtures, Interior / Exterior Colors, Cabinets, Counter-tops, Lighting Fixtures, Doors, Rooms, and Exterior Landscaping, Exteriors of homes. Misc.. If you're not a big fan of three ring notebooks, setup an account with houzz.com - we can access your designs through your website account.

Expert Construction Team

Our construction team at Raine Custom Homes is composed of skilled professionals with years of experience in the industry. We take pride in our craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of your construction project is executed to the highest standards. Every Custom Home Builder is different; but the construction process generally breaks down like this:

• Getting Started / Orientation - Discuss the Budget, Plans, Options, and Timing. Make sure all the parts and pieces are in place.
• Stages - Foundation, Framing, Roof, Mechanicals, Brick, Cabinets, Trim, Flooring. This is where some inspections and client walk through's will take place.
• Inspections - Third Party Independent Inspectors along with City Inspectors ( if necessary ) will make sure the construction & build is meeting all current building codes.
• Timing - Plan on about 4 months for every 1500 sq ft.
• Walk Through's - Low Voltage / Pre-Sheet rock, Pre-Closing Orientation, Final Walk. You will walk your home and put your eyes on the process for approval.
• Closing - Welcome to your New Custom Home !
